He convinces Di to run a voluntary basic first aid course, but Kurt has trouble convincing the other boys to participate. It is not until he reveals his secret weapon that the boys finally come around.

However it seems that there may be more behind Ryan's departure — Kurt and Nikki are now an item and Ryan refuses to believe that he's lost Nikki just yet.
