Overview

Episode 1: Do You Love An Apple
It’s been a few months of relative peace, but all that’s about to change when Sunny Barnes and her family set up Sunny Day Excursions just outside of town. Cassie is called in to investigate a missing backpacker. Beau and Jenny track a murderer.
Episode 2: The Woods Are Lovely, Dark and Deep
When disgruntled realtor Tonya calls the police on a squatter living in one of her homes, Jenny arrives only to discover a shocking connection to her past tied to the case. Cassie and Beau work to track the still-missing backpacker. Beau’s daughter Emily takes a campground investigation dangerously into her own hands, but has she stumbled upon a story far more nefarious than she could have imagined?
Episode 3: A Brief History of Crime
While investigating a scamming operation with Beau, Jenny discovers a connection to the crime that sends her reeling. A camper at Sunny Day Excursions has gone missing, and Beau’s similarly stubborn daughter, Emily, is eager to solve the case. Yet, with Sunny determined to cover up loose ends, her digging might lead to more than she bargained for in the end. Cassie and Denise run into a strange man on the side of the road who may just lead them down a new path.

Jenny and Beau investigate the bloody murder of a woman in her own backyard that turns into quite the family affair. Back at the Sunny Day Excursions, Buck grows increasingly suspicious of Sunny while Avery and Emily continue to question the disappearance of the missing camper. Cassie and Cormac discover something unimaginable out on the trail. Tonya and Donno accept a deadly proposition.
Episode 5: Flesh and Blood
After discovering Mark’s body in the woods, Cassie enlists Jenny’s help to solidify her suspicions that he was, in fact, murdered. Meanwhile, Tonya and Donno set up camp hoping to find Luke and Paige, and Sunny is feeling the pressure of all those watchful eyes looking for her missing campers.
Episode 6: The Bag and the Box
Jenny and Beau are on the hunt to find the killer of a decorated veteran. Cassie closes in on the Barnes family, all while getting closer with Cormac. Tonya and Donno devise a plan for their own best interest.
Episode 7: Come Get Me
When shocking new evidence surfaces from the “Bleeding Heart Murder Case,” Jenny and Beau team up with Cassie and achieve a major breakthrough. Buck struggles with his moral ambiguity, and cracks begin to form in his and Sunny’s marriage.

The investigation for the killer continues as Jenny and Beau confine the campers to the campsite in an effort to unravel their lies. Cassie and Cormac’s romance heats up, leading Cormac to confess his parents might not be as innocent as they want others to believe.

Jenny and Beau investigate the mysterious death of a rookie smokejumper while Cassie picks apart Walter’s story, convinced something isn’t adding up. Emily finds herself at Dewell and Hoyt while trying to keep busy, and Sunny and Buck work to put themselves back together after Walter’s arrest, leading her to reveal her biggest secret to Cormac and testing his allegiance in the process.

When Gigi finds herself at the mercy of a twisted local family, Jenny and Cassie work to intervene, but a twisted game threatens everything. Elsewhere, Sunny and Paige each come to a shocking realization about Buck, and Beau puts it all on the line for his family.

Jenny, Cassie and Beau uncover the truth about the Bleeding Heart Killer, but before justice can be served, chaos breaks out. Avery's involvement with Tony's crime family escalates to a standoff; Emily and Denise are put in grave danger; and despite her recent revelations, Sunny's family ties continue to pull apart. As Cassie, Jenny and Beau work to clean up the mess, the killer is still on the loose, ensuring no one is safe.
